Labuan Industrial Training Institute (ITI) is an institute under the Man Power Department Training Centre (ILJTM) all around Malaysia. The administration is supervised under Ministry of Human Resources (MoHR). Our main objectives are to train Malaysian people and educate our students and workers in order for them to perform any work at industry as skilled workers. There are 29 others ILJTM all around Malaysia.

Building work on ITI Labuan had fired up back in 1982 and was totally completed for operation two years later. Starting in June 1984, 50 students had registered to enrol as a first batch students. This number had shown an increment significantly year by year together with our new expansion plan hoping to cater 600 students starting June 2000. This institute was officially opened on October 26th, 1985 by late Minister of Labour, Dato' Mak Hong Kam. When it was opened in 1984, only 8 courses were offered. Now, the institute be able to offer 600 places in 10 various kind of trades or courses.
